Sometimes I wonder if we really can be considered the smartest beings on this planet.

ugh *sigh* most INTELLIGENT. There's a big difference between the words 'smart' and 'intelligent'. We're unbelievably, undeniably intelligent beings. We're just not all that smart. Of course, the only thing that attributes to anything and everything that we do which isn't smart is the fact that we're animals. Thus, inherantly, we seek pleasure. When you combine headonism with intelligence it can make for disasterous results of course. :-P

We invented toilet paper.... And sliced bread.

Ofcourse we are the smartest and most intelligent animals on this planet. And once I discover how to turn a 7-Layer Burrito from Taco Bell into a multiple-warhead rocket launcher, I will be the smartest, most intelligent and not to mention most lethal animal on the planet. Bwa ha.

well lets see. we did invent everything man-made on the planet, which is a lot of things. but at the same time being smart in ways such as building and designing might not necessarily make us the smartest beings. i dont know. when i see the intelligence of certain animals i wonder the same thing.
