So, I haven't posted in a while ...

... and I just want to say I'm pretty much loving life. Here's a quick run-down (in elongated Richard format):

+ In an attempt to get in better shape and in general be a healthier/more productive person I've been doing far less smoking ... and have started playing my true sport love, Ultimate, again.

+ I've been studying for the GRE and doing pretty well. This is important because average scores on the GRE for Physics grad students are really, really high ... especially on the math, most of which I haven't done since middle school. Since I'm 24, that was a long time ago. At least I have the knowledge base for most of it, so it's just relearning the concepts and shortcuts. Except for probability, which would have probably been helpful to learn at some point in my life, but the math part is easy so once I get the concept part down I'll be golden.

+ I've been seeing a great girl. She's really nice and caring, easy to talk to, can carry on a conversation on a wide variety of topics (which is useful because I love to talk/debate), can cook a mean chicken parmesagn (as I found out last night), likes to play with my hair, and watch Lost with me on DVD (finished Season One at 3 am this morning). Oh and she's hot, which is nice.

That's the main things going on in my life, and they are making me pretty happy a few more quick ones:

+ Atlanta Falcons: 3-1
+ Frisbee tournaments the next two weekends in College Station & Nacogdoches (so I'll get to see my Grandpa 2 days before his birthday on 31 Oct ... and my sister-in-law Sarah at SFA)
+ I got to wear a sweater for the first time yesterday, this is good because the bulk of the clothes I like to wear are winter-y
+ Theta Chi is apparently kicking ass and taking names: many props to you for your hard work/innate awesomeness
+ Dave got me into this 7-month Home Game Poker Series with old guys around town, so I'm looking forward to seeing how I do in that.
+ Just received the most unexpected phone call ever.
