So ... Now You Know
As some of you might know, me and Mattie broke-up. For those of ya'll who didn't, you do now.
Several things:
1) I'm sorry to everyone I have ignored over the past few months, I think some lifestyle choices I was making were far more to blame than the relationship. Some of you I just couldn't look in the eye and talk to, because I wasn't always proud of the person I had become.
2) Stottsee, I'm sorry that you never got to meet her ... but perhaps it was for the best.
3) You may be surprised to learn that I plan on staying single. Everyone has given me shit on that topic for years, so just understand that as my friends I am heeding your advice. It's just what I need to do for the betterment of my life, and for any chance I will have to attain my career goals. For years I have sacrificed my own goals and ambitions for others (in some cases where they did not even want me to -> TSS) ... so you should be happy to know those days are coming to an end. Plus, I've been really lazy (like a sloth) ... so that's coming to a conclusion as well.
4) Other than that, not much is going on. I would like to have a party when everyone filters back in town ... so let me know if there is any interest in that.
5) I'm having a knee scope on Monday July 17th ... it's fairly minor surgery but if anyone can fill me in on what to expect, I would greatly appreciate it.
