I'm pretty much done with this internship. Just three more weeks, and I'll have my Master's and be out in the real world. It'll be nice not to be an intern. TaxWatch hasn't been too back about making me do "intern" type things. And honestly, I'm okay with doing them sometimes...I mean, it comes with the territory. You pretty much have to do what people tell you to do. Sometimes, though, I'm tempted to say something like "I'm not that kind of intern," but that could be taken badly. :)
We're going to Jacksonville again tomorrow. At first I was excited about business trips, but it turns out they are quite boring. And this time we're leaving around 8:30 in the morning tomorrow and not getting back until late Thursday night.
Last Sunday church was pretty awesome. E3 was celebrating their 4 year anniversary, so it wasn't a typical church service (but is it ever?). They had a few people share testimonies, and they were all really good. Especially this one from a woman that Joyce and I met at one of the membership classes. Her testimony ended with her burning idols. Literally...burning...idols. Everything was really high energy for the whole service. I was playing violin, and was able to get really into the musical worship.
I just have to get through these next few days, and then I have my gig Friday night! I'm realllllly excited. I've been practicing. I don't know how my fingers are going to like playing for an hour straight, but we'll see. I learned a new song to play too; it's by the Getup kids, called "I'll Catch You." It's one of my favorite songs and I have never really considered learning it, but I found an acoustic version of it and it's really nice.
