(no subject)
So hey - as per my promise a few days ago, Im really trrying to rectify my lingering absence from LJ. It totally bums me out that Ive missed out on so much!
Oh well, onward and upward hey?
Been pretty busy lately - Ive been working still at the chemist and the school plus I was cleaning this house of a family friend while she was away (and scored $300 out of it ... which was pretty reasonable considering) and yeah .... uh Ive got about a month left of uni plus exams for the year which both thrills and terrifies me (cos im not ready for exams etc) ... Ive decided to change my degree to a Bachelor of Commerce.... after much deliberation I decided that I dont want to be at uni forever, I can always go back, and the commerce will help get me a job better and quicker than arts. For those that dont know I am enrolled in a Bachelor of Arts and my major is Psych which I love. However, there arent many jobs out there for a Psych major in an Arts degree. So I thought I would make myself more competitive by trying to get into the double degree Arts and Commerce... a few days ago I talked to my Dad (who knows the business world) and he was like "they (the people giving you a job) wont give a f*** about the arts, theyll only care about the commerce, its best to just get out there and get experience and go back and do the psych later" ... So I think im gonna do that...
What else...?
OH! Next year, in July Im going on Contiki!! Me and my best mate are going around Europe for a month!! How awesome is that!?!? So yeah, Im trying to save for that...
Uh shout out to all my flist who have been sooooo supportive over the last long while when Ive posted so sporadically - you guys are awesome....

sapphs- it was her 21st not too long ago and we had a great dinner and yeah, it was great fun ... shes gonna tell me about all these awesome shows that I should watch (like Bones and La Femme Nikita - hope I spelled that right)...
So anyways....
