Hi livejournal!

I neglect this thing a lot. I have a ton of communities I watch though. Mostly baking and food communities. Some craft and decorating too. What kind of communities do you watch? Friend posts are kinda few and far between, but everyone is busy and livejournal isn't a high priority on the ol' "to do" list.

I'm looking at Steve now. He's having a long day. I brought him hot dogs to eat.

Summer has begun and that's nice. I am currently working part-time at the Cato place and it still sucks. Can't wait to quit that SHIZ! In a few months I will begin teaching at the Muslim school and Inshaa Allah, everything will go well. In the emails and conversations I've been having with the people I work with, they say Inshaa Allah a LOT. It means God willing. I don't think it will be a habit I pick up because I'm whitey white bread and I think it would be arrogant of me to say since I'm not converted Muslim, nor do I speak Arabic. Mostly say it in my head to myself for some reason. I just thought it'd be cute to throw in there. Anywho, I'm also tutoring one of the boys from my student teaching days. I'm kinda sad that I am not working at the school I student taught at, but who knows what will come. I am going to miss my kids. That's what makes me the saddest :(

The past few days I caught the organizing bug and went through my room, chucking old papers, filing new papers, and switching around my furniture to make a sort of office area to work in. I got rid of my huge entertainment center and switched it for a smaller one, bought a five shelf book case, and also got a writing desk. It was a pretty cheap investment for all 3 pieces, plus I had some hot labor guy come over and put it all together ;) Thanks honey!!!

I have a lot of stuff, mostly stuff for the classroom and future apartment. The classroom stuff is the hardest to organize. There are large things and just odds and ends that don't go anywhere. So many books, activities, games, bulletin board paraphernalia, etc. I need to get in my classroom and open that whole can of worms next week.

WELP, that's my life in a nutshell right now. How are you doing out there?????
