I can't wait wait wait for festivals and garage sales brought about by the spring weather!
Today I feel somewhat productive. I filled out another application for a school. Morton specifically. I am currently waiting to hear from three schools which isn't that many. I should put in at least a dozen applications but I don't know a dozen schools I'd like to work at. That might be a problem I suppose. I also made some cookie/cake thing that didn't turn out very well, but I had a good time making it.
On the news today, there is a new trend amongst the youngins. Smoking smarties. I will put a youtube link here. This kid thinks he's pretty awesome. There are shorter ones, but this one is much too ridiculous to not fully enjoy :)
There is one school that will give the kids a detention ON THE SPOT if they even HAVE a smarty on them. Parents are freaking out. It's a tad ridiculous really. I mean, yeah, kids don't need to glorify smoking. However, candy cigarettes anyone? I remember getting candy cigarettes and I don't smoke. Plus the candies were WAAAY more upfront about smoking than puffing out some sugar dust for gosh sake. It can't be as bad as snorting pixie dust either and who DIDN'T do that? Did that indirectly lead anyone to a crippling cocaine addiction? Some things just are silly silly silly.
Anyway, I'm happy it's not winter anymore!!!!
