(no subject)
I am a lazy girly today and it feels soooo good. I got calls to sub for Thursday and Friday at the school I student taught at. The whole first grade is doing DIBELS testing and I get to float between all four classes. I'm pretty stoked and nervous about it. I know my class will be fine (funny that they're still MINE), but this is the very first time at subbing. I keep telling myself to RELAX!!! That is actually my New Year's resolution, as nerdy as that sounds.
Oh yes, let's recap the weekend. Friday I attempted to go to the huge civic center sale with my family girls. It was a lot of driving and little action. Apparently meeting places were a little confuzled and when everyone actually found out how much it was to park AND get in, we abandoned the whoooole idea. I went to work after that and bought a new purse and shirt! woohoo! This job is makes me spend too much money on things I want. After work, Mr. Steven and I went to Steak-n-Shake with coupons!
Saturday, I had to work again but before work that night Steve and I went to Goodwill, German Food Store, Electronics Diversified, and Little Caesars via Kmart. I purchased a set of super cute dishes at Goodwill for only three dollars! Love them. Also, Kmart had Christmas stuff 90% offffff! I might actually go back again and see what else there is left over. After work I went to Steve's house and met Aaron and Hebbers there. We decided to make cheese fondue and little meat fondue with Steve's fryer. It was flash frying little pieces of cow and dipping it in a curry sauce we made. The cheese fondue was amazing too. It was a mix of melted cream cheese, milk, Parmesan, and some sort of seasoning that I don't remember. Both were the most delicious things ever. We then started deep frying other bits of things too such as peanut butter sandwiches and popcorn. The sandwiches were tasty. Everyone wanted to go to sleep forever after we were done. After the kids departed, Steve made an awesome purchase and everyone was happy :D
Sunday I had to work again. We did clothing mark downs and that's always tedious. After work I went to Steven's again. It's nice to have him soooo close! I go there probably too often. Jackson is the best greeter ever. Though it's a little painy, it's nice to know that little dog couldn't be more happy to see you.
I need to go shower and move around like a productive member of society now. I hope everyone has a very nice Monday!
