So I've been reading Angels and Demons by Dan Brown. I've got a new obsessions! The Illuminati! Oh my god, the book is awesome. I'm half way through it. Antimatter? Hello Slytherins! Sorry for the incredibly random (and probably surprising) email, but I can't post this in your common room as it involves one of your own and we want to keep this a secret! All of the houses had this posted in their common rooms.

For those of you who don't know, our former headmistress/deputy headmistress mmmbopthis (Amelia) is sick. That's why she had to give up the deputy position, because things didn't go the way she planned. She thought she was getting better, but her latest results said that she has to go through more treatment.

Meadow and I have decided that we want to do something nice for her, and after bouncing a few ideas around, this is what we came up with.

We're going to set up a photo album of pictures of you all sending her well wishes. There are two different ways you can participate in this.

1). Take a picture of yourself with a webcam/digital camera/regular camera (if you have access to a scanner) holding up a sign with well wishes for Amelia. They can be creative and funny and say whatever you want them to. Just remember to make the print on the sign big so it is visible. 2). Draw a picture in photoshop/psp/mspaint/whatever program you have access to. But actually try to draw it instead of using images from the internet. I think she would enjoy original work more than something you ganked.

On either of these, please try to include your real name (or alias you use online), your lj name, and your house (and position if you have one). These are due by October 31st to THIS email address! Please don't post these anywhere else, as we're keeping this a secret till it's done.

No points are involved in this. But you'll get the satisfaction of making someone's day. Beyond the points and rivalries, we're all a family, so it would be nice to help cheer her up.
