Wiccans make me happy

Well today I've been digging into my wiccan article. Some of it requires online research, so I have sufficient background to explain things properly and put them into context. I'm glad I have my theology degrees working on this, because it's definitely not just fluffy- bunny-peace-and-love superficialia. Many of these writers are thea/theologians.

Right now I'm working themes out of the responses I got from my interviewees. Luckily they're eloquent, intelligent and educated on their subject. That's a big help. I hate it when people send me vague responses that have to be put through a blender before they sound coherent. It's a pleasure to be working with women who can make a full sentence, with content and a point and everything. Thank-you to blackorchid1, misslynx and Cheryl!

I've made the roughest of rough drafts. It's basically an outline were I group the quotes under headings like "Wicca and polarity" or "wicca and family." Later I'll decide what order things would flow best, which sections to cut, which quotes to replace or summarize with explanatory text and which to highlight as quotations. Since it's a cover article it's 1300 words max. My rough draft is 4287. So it's a little over three times too big right now. Even so, there are issues and topics that need fleshing out, and I've sent some follow-up questions to my three witches. Hmmm. Three witches, Macbeth...maybe I can use that. They certainly don't fit the stereotype.

I'm also going into work a bit early today. That's nice because it's extra money for me, but not much extra work, since I was going to work today anyway. Working an extra day is more annoying for me because I find it draining to take what would otherwise be a day off and instead be keeping my eye on the clock, to get to work on time. Interesting typo: I initially wrote "keeping my eye on the cock..." Typo, or Freudian slip which reveals I'm a big whore?
