Gender Independent Children and Family Support Survey

The 519 is conducting a survey for parents, grandparents, guardians and primary caregivers of kids aged 2 to 12 who's interests, behaviors or identities do not conform to traditional expectations of gender, and who are living in the province of Ontario.

This project has been developed in consultation with community members and has emerged from requests for information and support from families with young gender independent children. These requests have come into several of The 519’s program departments, namely: Queer Parenting, Children’s, and Trans Programs. We want to know, based on your experiences, what support you need. The information gathered will be used to create resources to support your families.

This online survey is found here, and will be open until September.

Please pass this information along to your networks as these families are often very isolated across the province.
