I got the author copy of the
Five Fingers: Port of Deceit sourcebook that will be out at Origins: it's turned out very well indeed, with excellent flavor and history by Doug Seacat and rules by yours truly. I especially enjoy the narration of each section by a different citizen of the town; no one does useful, engaging fluff like Privateer Press.
My contributions were in rules for chases, bribes, gambling, gang warfare, the Malefactor of Thamar prestige class, and so on, plus stats and descriptions of the High Captains and a few other notables. Oh, and I introduced the low captains as well. But mostly I did crunch, plus I adapted bits of
Roguish Luck for the Iron Kingdoms setting. Seeing d20 material revised and adapted from one publisher to another is still all too rare.
There's a good look at the
cover on the Privateer site. It's a fine city book for freebooters, more in the mold of Lankhmar or Freeport than, say, Waterdeep.
