The muppets stamps are even better than I suspected.
There's a Henson stamp as well as the muppets, and each muppet has a quote and signature on the back of the sheet. All the quotes are great, but I especially like Sam the Eagle
I am humbled and honored to be a on a stamp issued by this great nation. Out of respect for the U.S. Postal Service and yours truly, please do not put me on a letter with any of these other weirdoes. Patriotically yours, Sam the Eagle

Oh Beakie, what a great day for Muppet Labs! We’ve made ourselves completely flat and pasted ourselves to an envelope. Isn’t science nifty!?
Maybe it's just me, but I think it's a nice touch.
Age of Empires 3 ate my brain all weekend. It's fiendishly addictive. You have been warned.
The only break from compulsive Empire-building was for a Saturday brunch, which was a success because the power went out for not quite an hour. This affected almost nothing except the bill. They comped us some champagne, but honestly, the heater steam tables still kept food hot and the baked desserts , though the ovens were out and there was no more coffee or fresh juice. The entire restaurant cheered when the light came back; it doesn't take much to draw people together. I must remember to brunch without electricity more often.
I thrashed my way through a rewrite of Chapter 18 on Sunday night. After all my complaints about POV in one of the Writer's Retreat submissions, it turns out I can mangle POV as well as anyone when I really put my mind to it. As a result, I'll work to resolved the Chapter 17/18 sequencing problem. Will probably have to cut one of these chapters, and right now the odds are against 18.
