Update
Well, it's been over 2 months since I last updated so I'm definitely overdue. I guess I'll start w/ the end of the school year.
Looking back on my freshman year it was definitely an enjoyable time. High moments include:
My Octofinal round 3-0 win at Santa Clara
My Senior LD break at Carson
Eating one of Mr. Worthen's goldfishes
Making hats and shirts laden w/ anti-liberal phrases
Being promoted to a Corpral in ROTC
Looking back on debate I definitely exceeded my expectations (which usually doesn't happen). The whole year I was basically trying to catch up with Sydney after I dropped my 4th round at Reno to the guy who amazingly won the whole tournament. The only things I was sad about this year were Failing to break at Reno while Leala and CJ did. Having Sydney get the Berkely spot over me. Having Sasha break over me at Spring Creek. I'm definitely going to dedicate my high school career solely to debate. I was planning to go to debate camp this summer but sadly my uncle passed away today so I won't be able to go. I'll still get a good opportunity to comptete on the national circuit next year which should be a fun experience. (This of course assuming Kern doesn't do LD next year) I get to learn from one of the best LDers Reno has ever had so I'll have plenty of opportunities to learn. I'm also planning to do a 2pac PPI next year inspired by Robert's Bohemian Rhapsody impression last year.

Read Books
Cut Cards
& More Cards
Prewritten cases for next year
Watched Fox News & ESPN
Learned how to dirtbike
Got a large scar on the back of my leg from burning my self on the exhaust pipe
Gone to EFY at BYU!!!!! It's like mormon heaven (700 good looking, mostly single LDS girls on one campus) :)
Taken Drivers Ed online
Things I still have to do:
Find and read books on Critical Race Theory
Make some sort of headway on the Journalism topic
Buy some jeans
Buy a pink shirt
Buy a new suit, shirts and ties.
Buy a tie tack!!!
Possibly (Not Likely) buy airfare for Dallas
Get on Foster's good side
Give Tyler a copy of the DVD from debate
Learn how to juggle flaming torches
Learn how to break dance
Listen to more rap music
Be more outgoing
Start saving money for debate camp next summer and over winter vacation
Get a job (doesn't anyone know the legal age limit?)
