Prince charming, some assembly required. - Caroline/Tyler

Caroline Forbes had officially been rejected by her only chance of getting a guy that wasn't just in it for her ass. Great, of course Elena had gotten the deep, mysterious, new guy at school while she was stuck with her leftovers. Sometimes life really did just suck. So that was why she was stood in the forest alone with a beer, leaning against a tree.

"What's this, the respectable Caroline Forbes all alone in the dark?" A familiar voice mocked as she heard heavy footsteps on the ground. As she opened her eyes she saw one of the people she did not want to see at that very minute. Tyler Lockwood. Perfect.

"Leave me alone, Lockwood." Okay so they'd known each other since she could remember, but she didn't like him at all. She didn't really know why, they'd just never gotten along, always glaring at each other. She took another sip of her beer, frowning at the taste. She didn't really like the taste but it was the only thing that was left from the party.

"Now why would I do that? C'mon Forbes, you know you want me." He smirked, a cocky look on his face as he took her beer and sipped it himself, wiping his bottom lip with his thumb. His lips did look good, altogether too kissable to be human in fact. And his face… chiselled cheekbones and an angular jaw. Strong arms… football player arms in fact. She bit her lip and tried to clear her thoughts. This is Tyler Lockwood for god's sake Caroline. Wake up and smell the deadbeat. But as soon as she looked back at him she lost the willpower she had thought she had gotten.

"Shut up, Tyler." She replied feebly, she couldn't even make herself believe it so she doubted her would. A hearty laugh escaping his throat just proved this. Now she looked like a complete idiot, which was just great. As he stepped closer she took her beer back, taking the last sip and then tossing it away onto the floor as he put a hand on the side of her face, the same smirk on his face.

"Come on Caro… you can pretend with everyone else but not with me. We'd be amazing together and you know it." He looked her straight in the eye as he said it, not smirking anymore, but smiling sure of himself. The worst bit about it was that she knew he was right. She'd heard stories, locker room tales about Tyler Lockwood and not just from stoners like Vicki Donovan either.

"I'm not having sex with you against a tree." Was all that she could muster. Besides the statement was totally true, he could be as charming as he liked but that was most definitely not happening. Not tonight and not any other night either. He just laughed a little and tucked some hair behind her ear.

"Wouldn't dream it m'lady." He grinned and she couldn't help but smile back a little as he took her hand and pulled her to him, pressing his lips against hers and then walking towards his car. She leant against his warm chest under his jacket, giggling at the excitement.

If she couldn't have a Prince Charming readymade then she'd just have to make one herself.
