U.S. Takes Yet Another Step Toward Total Barbarity

The Secretary of Defense has announced that, from now on, women can be used in combat roles. How great is that?! As of 2013, the opportunity exists to kill, maim, and destroy the physical and psychological health of hundreds of thousands more young Americans. Well, we want equal rights for everyone in the country, so it's only fair that the female half of the population gets the opportunity to fight on the front lines of our meaningless military adventures. Well, not meaningless to those Americans who are making millions from the sale of armaments and land mines and to the politicians who are padding their nests so that, when they leave office, they can take obscenely high-paying positions in various "defense" industries.
