(no subject)
Wow, its been a long time since I've written in this little box. A lot has happened since the last update and most of my readers have found out through IMs, but for those who haven't, I shall give a moderately brief outline of what's happened since 29 June.
Summer was nice for the most part. Helmut came to visit on weekends, Andrea (my darling and lovely older sister) came out for a few days and I showed her around town and she took Helmut, Steph and I to Mall of America for an afternoon, I didn't find a job all damn summer, I took care of some personal health problems (much thanks is owed to those who were there for me and supported me through it) and right now I feel pretty damn good.
A week before school started, my distance relationship ex-thing came online and it made me laugh pretty hard. He had the gaul to tell some people I'm friends with that I'm "Nororiously Mean" and "Nothing but a pathetic fucktard-loser who does nothing but wallow in self pity". Hmmm, lets compare lives now. We shall call the ex-thing Arschloch for this entry.

21 and still lives with parents but does NOT attend school as far as I know (His Last 2 semester Gpas were only like a 1.2)
Currently Jobless
Severely Untreated Depression/Bipolar and refuses to seek help
Effects of above mentioned depression make him do little else than not get out of bed for a week at a time or just go online
Complains about being single and then drives away anyone who is stupid enough to love him

20 and living in my own apartment
Doing really well in school
Got professional help for mental issues before they came severe and doing wonderfully as a result
Relationship edging on 8 months and still going well considering all the things we needed to work through
I got my job back with the music office (YAY MONEY!)
So yeah, I think I came out better in the end. Life is going pretty well at the moment. I've made a lot of new friends this semester, kept in touch with most of the old ones, and I got into three productions, so basically the month of October through 1 December, no one panic if I'm never seen LOL I have a lot to do besides school. Im lighting board operator for "The Mousetrap", part of "Honk! The musical tale of the Ugly Duckling" as a follow spot-light operator, and "The Shape Of Things" Assistant Stage Manager. This really excites me because it'll all look good on a resume and with me starting late in the theatre program, I need as many shows as possible to help catch up and an ASM is a really good postion. I'm content now. Other things I've done; Got a freshman a $300 ticket for a drunk incident before school started (ask the story sometime), chewed out a kid for smoking for stupid reasons, Been to a couple fun theatre parties and got a weird ass stalker from one, Joined 3 campus clubs, Parade around as a German Student, and then, time for SLEEP LOL. I never understood how people could sleep so much until this semester started and I'm never home anymore and then its like BEAUTIFUL BED WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!?!!
As a last bit of rambling, I've decided that I'm going to change my name. While surfing the web with Mummy over the summer, we found out that someone with my exact first and last name who does Technical Theatre on either the east or west coast. I don't care for my proper name anyhow, so I was thinking of making it permanently Järe, then spelling my last name the way that it was supposed to be before Ellis Island and other officials changed it. And now, I've written enough and its time to go to Perkins with the wife and roommate.I shall make an effort to write more so people can keep up with me, not that anyone actually reads or cares :P Tschüss all.
