(no subject)
sooooo about this dvd that i've raved about over the past few months..this "PULSE" pink floyd dvd. they, of course, delayed the release again, this time to september 18th, 2006. which does not surprise me in the least. it's been delay after delay after delay for years now, but unlike some people who get angry and upset about the delays, i'm been pretty chill about it... so this pink floyd site that gives all of these updates about the dvd, the dates and delays...they posted an article by some guy about how the delays are really a good thing; they mean that the dvd is going to be PERFECT and excellent when it DOES come out. so i'm like "dude...that's exactly the way i feel about it." so i just shot a nice email to thier website and got a response back...i thought it was kinda cool.

Thanks for your email, Zack. Great to hear from you... we do try our best to remain objective on the news pages, without colouring the information with our views. It's strange how wound up over Pulse some people have got - in fact, had a really abusive email the other day from a Roger Waters fan. I showed it to my wife as she wanted to know what I was laughing at! :-) As if the BD site has ever taken sides over the whole Roger v David debate, and ever not carried news of Roger's activities!
It's always lovely to hear positive comments about our hard work - makes me even more determined to carry on providing good coverage of events. Lots of goodies in the pipeline...

i've been anxiously, but patiently awaiting the release of pulse for a very looong time now, just as everyone else has...got my copy pre-ordered on amazon. but i'm embarrassed by the behaviour of some of my fellow floyd fans who are downright enraged over the release delays. thank you for posting this article "thoughts on the delays." i think it might help some people to chill out and regain some patience in waiting for this final release date to arrive. i for one appreciate the honest and objective approach that BD has taken when it comes to this release. THANK YOU for all of the updates and news on the dvd, as well as everything else Floyd related. :) LONG LIVE BD!!!
