(no subject)
i haven't updated lj with anything of substance in awhile, so since i've nothing better to do right now than do homework, i figured that now would be a perfect time for a post.
at the moment, i am preoccupied. the reasons for my preoccupation are varied; the matters themselves complicated, more often than not. one of these preoccupations, however, is a positive one. as of 9:09pm this evening, i am currently the sole, and therefore highest, bidder at this Ebay auction:

on wednesday, i went to Magnolia A/V in Everett and bought myself a pair of these babies:
they retail for $90, but guess who got them BRAND NEW for $30?!?!? :-D it's a good thing that they were so cheap though, because they're going to cost $80-$100 to install, but actually that's not a bad price. i was surprised that Car Toys had such reasonable installation prices. i must be cautious, though. i still believe that the salesmen at these places are the spawn of satan. anyhow, i plan on installing these speakers very soon.
in addition, i will soon own this:
the Audiobahn A1300HCT Mono Sub Car Amplifier. quite possibly the most beautiful conglomeration of circuitry, electronic components, metal, chrome, and bacdafucupbitch asswhoopingpower ever created. i am in love. it's rather sick.
there is a store on Ebay (Car Audio Deals) that sells it for $265 + about $25 S/H/insurance; THE best price on this amp ANYWHERE. i've searched everywhere but they still sell it (new in the original factory packaging) for $50 less than anyone else. this amp retails for upwards of $700.. i'm getting quite a deal. :) unfortunately they've been out of stock on it for about a month now, but i checked their website a few hours ago and they have 5 of them in stock now!! they haven't listed them on Ebay yet, but i've been checking every 5 minutes or so for it (sad but true..) so i'll be the first to buy one when they list it.
i'm super excited about all of this, but i'm not even going to start about 4-channel amps. i don't have all night. although i'm tenatively considering this one:
besides all of this car-audio excitement, i am sad to report that i have felt better than i do now. yet at the same time, i'm not so sure. needless to say, i am confused. but it's ok. i just need to sleep more. so before anything else comes up, i'm going to bed so i can dream about pimp-parking in my whip.
let me know if you want to roll through the ghetto (edmonds) with me sometime in my bumpin' ride. :)
