Heehee, I don't know where I read this... oh yes, an Amy Tan novel; you know, the one where a couple is renovating a Victorian house when they used horse hair for insulation, and the woman was taking down the wallpaper and out popped the horse hair and the woman started screaming hysterically because she thought it was a dead body!
*snort*! You just reminded me of a game with the word 'limp' in the title, but I refuse to go into this in public as is actually too revolting For Words (but not for actions, clearly.)
lol! Are we talking about large-bosomed-can-only-be-named-martha-or-hannah-type-matronly, or are talking about priscilla-queen-of-the-desert-matronly? ;)
I vote for the latter. Bettah shoes, and also more glitter on more exposed body parts. ;)
YES no no Martha-or-hannah-type, he would wear STARCHED APRONS Conno! STARCHED APRONS damn it, and then he could say "La, child, you DO carry on!" and so on and so forth ;)
If we're going for Priscilla we might as well go the whole hog and make him Cleopatra, and you could be Caesar and indulge in all the orgies you want!
I don't want to be Caesar. I would much rather sleep with him. However he is far too dead :( isn't life tragic? But my Russian mathematician will make me happy with his poor dress sense and mismatching socks instead :) :) :)
I love Calpurnia, and I actually love HTKAMM as is a Damn Fine Book, and has a sort of happy ending even though it's sad, which is an incredibly difficult trick to pull off. I have discussed this with finwen at length too, on the basis of Atticus being The Ideal Man. She told me that if I thought this I was clearly destined for English Teacher Spinsterhood, which sounds dreadful. :(
Deadness has never stopped you before, necrophiliac ;) Would a Russian Mathematician wear flannel pyjamas, I wonder. Clearly so; as this is THE way to go.
Calpurnia kicks butt; and I too love TKAM (how MM even gets into it I dare not ask, fool ;)) although Atticus being the Ideal Man might be a bit of a stretch. The Idealistic Man, yes; but the Ideal Man... well, maybe. I'm not sure he's the Ideal Father though.
English Teacher Spinsterhood must consist of Adoration of Darcy, Heathcliff, Atticus and... hmmm. I don't know. Maybe Willoughby/ Wickham as well, for those who like their men to... ummm... "treat em mean"...
1. The necrophilia described was In A Film, and also inadvertent. I would nevah abuse dead people (have been too traumatised by the sixth sense to do such a thing :|)
2. MM...um..Mocking...MMMMbird.
*shifty eyes*
3. Atticus so is the Ideal Man! He's Idealistic and Intelligent and Tolerant and Open Minded and Learned And All Noble Minded And Idealistic.

*runs and hides* Conno, as Amy you must now proceed to burn Huw's novel and ENRAGE him/her even more so he/she forgets to hunt me down ;)

I've always listened to the voices in my head - they prompted me so well in my interviews. :)

Little doesn't equal puny! Little can be cute; puny is just... weak ;) Limp, as it were.

So is Huw 'little' or 'puny' then? ;)
Yes, those are the only options. :D
