It was warm today, up to the fifties, which was higher than they’d predicted. The snow was melting, too, so the roads were slushy or wet, but not iced over. Ty knew that Alex had plans after work tonight, some ‘hot guy’ he’d met at the bakery was the flavor of the night, so he had packed his shit after Alex went to work and gone home. Since he had plans to go dancing and figured there’d be at least a little drinking, he visited Tigger and thanked Leah with lunch for helping him out the last week, and left Tigger in her care since he might end up just renting a room somewhere if he drank enough to get tipsy. He didn’t really like to get drunk, hadn’t in years, but he wasn’t one for driving after dark if he’d had more than a couple of beers. Too dangerous, really.
It was Saturday, and he’d already gotten enough photos for the Metro, so he spent the rest of the day cleaning up his apartment, doing laundry, and checking Youtube for clips about Latin dancing. He’d never really danced that style before, but he loved to dance, and a lot of it seemed to be about moving your hips, so he was pretty excited about trying it. He decided to wear a pair of black trousers that made his ass look great and also fit loose enough in case he got daring and tried to do some of those more complicated moves he’d watched, and a blue button up shirt that really brought out the color in his eyes. He had no intention of finding a sex partner tonight, the only guy he had any interest in doing that with was going to be fucking some hot guy from a bakery, but he wanted a good night, and feeling hot kinda helped with that.
When he got the club, no one else he knew was there yet. It was decent size, not too huge but not so small people were stepping on each other, and the music was great. He claimed a larger table in the corner, throwing his coat over a chair before making his way to the dance floor. A pretty girl grinned at him, so he acquired a partner who didn’t seem to mind that he was learning. He laughed as he started imitating her, rolling his hips and trying to keep up as the music became faster. Yeah, it was going to be a good night. Even if no one else showed up, he was going to relax and have fun.
