Ezra wasn't sure if this counted as a second date or not, as they had spent time together since their first date, but this was the first time since then that he'd arranged a more 'date like' thing. This wasn't a jam session or taking their dogs out to the park, though he wasn't sure if picking up breakfast and bringing it over to her place really counted as a date either. He wasn't going to stress or think about it too hard, as really she had never struck him as picky and he didn't really think there were set guidelines on how to date.
The important thing he thought was that he had finally arranged something, and hopefully avoided her thinking that he'd lost interest after their first date. There was definitely still interest there, he was just determined to take things slower and get to know Ariel. Though he worried at times if he was taking things too slow, again he really thought he needed to stop over thinking this and just knock on her door already.
He had gone fairly simple with breakfast, bagels and muffins that he'd picked up on the way. Unlike his sister he could cook, though he wasn't sure he should attempt to cook for her as he was fairly certain she was a better cook then he was. Breakfast really was just an excuse to spend time with her anyway, and he kind of she was aware of that as well.
Knocking on her door, Ezra juggled the bag with breakfast in it and Nori's leash. He was realizing belatedly that he'd never actually 'ok'd' bringing Nori with him, though it was too late now. Ezra really was over thinking everything, and he had to think it was because he really did care about how things went with Ariel. "Okay, focus." He muttered to himself, needing to get out of his head and stop worrying about everything as he waited for Ariel to answer her door.
