RP: Christmas and Stuff

The place probably looked like Santa threw up in it, but Harley figured she was entitled to go a little nuts with the Christmas thing. She decorated every year, like with fairly lights and a little tree and shit, but this wasn't the same; it wasn't just her for once. More people, more decorations, it seemed to make sense. So she'd bought more lights and basically strung them up everywhere along with loads of garland, and she'd gotten a bigger tree this time. A real one too, which meant she'd be stepping on pine needles until...whenever she moved out of here, probably.
It was worth it, though. She hadn't had a Christmas with Thad in longer than she wanted to think about, and she had Ariel now too, and Kudzu. She had, like, people all of a sudden.
Ariel was helping her get the rest of dinner together. Harley figured she shouldn't have to do that considering it was her birthday, but she was grateful for the help, and at least she wouldn't make Ariel clean any of it up or anything. She'd piled presents up under the tree, had candy canes and had even picked up some eggnog and some rum to spike it with.
"So Thad and Kudzu'll be here pretty soon," she said, breaking the seal on the rum and tipping some of it into the bowl, hoping she wasn't overdoing it. "Kudzu made a ham I think."
