RP: Happy Birthday

Summary: Rori wants to celebrate Ava’s birthday.

Rori was glad the week was over. She’d been looking forward to the weekend all week, since Ava’s birthday was this week. They had both been too busy to properly celebrate it during the week, though Rori had called and wished her a happy birthday. She’d thought about trying to swing by after work or even to catch Ava coming out of work, but she didn’t want to push anything, or make her uncomfortable.
But today she had presents, and plenty of time to spend with her girlfriend. She had gotten some tasty take away so Ava didn’t have to worry about cooking, and she was trying to do things up right even if she didn’t exactly know how to do so. It was always easy with Cody, take him out for a drink and stuff, and basically the same with Shosh. So she was sort of making it up as she went along.
Hopefully Ava would understand, though. She wanted to make this a great birthday for her girlfriend. She knocked mostly because her arms were otherwise full of stuff, and waited with a grin.
