Elliot was glad to be home on the holidays. It might be strange, and he might feel a bit like an alien sometimes, but he was glad to be home. Home in this case was his siblings. He wished that Carrie were here too, that would just make everything complete for him. He missed his girlfriend, and he worried about her with her family. He knew Alice would do her best and take care of her, but he wished he could be there for her.
He was just glad he’d found time to give her his tags. That was very important to him, and he hoped she would know how much he meant the sentiment behind it.
But at least today he had Belle and Fisher. He’d cooked the turkey, and Belle had helped out in the kitchen. Today was a good day. He snagged his sister around the waist and kissed her forehead. “So glad to have you here,” he murmured to her before going to set the table.
