Max had gotten in touch with Drew again, and had the name of the client, phone number, and a list of some general repairs she'd wanted done while the renovations were being approved and such. Now that Max had an idea how his schedule would work, he felt confident he could take some time in the afternoons and weekends to get those repairs taken care of.
He called the number, hoping it wasn't a problem that he called around dinnertime. Ruth was making something in the kitchen, and he knew better than to try and stick a hand in while she was still inclined to get sick at the slightest thing.
"Hello, is this Jacqueline Avery?" He said when the phone connected.
