It wasn't so much that he didn't want to talk to Ty, Alex thought to himself, it was that for as much as he got love and support, it was an imposition. Which was really nothing more than giving Alex a weak excuse for not sharing something. Which he knew, and was trying to correct.
So he fixed some lemonade and took it outside, where the pups could run around and he could pull Ty onto the swing for a chat.
He called for Ty to join him, patting the oversized glider next to him. "Come here. I'm exercising my right to cuddle outside today."
