RP: Backyard Date

It almost felt weird, or maybe superfluous, to be scheduling a date with someone who was his best friend and sorta living with him for a while, but Caleb wouldn't have missed it for the world. They were both busy enough that time to hang out needed to be planned anyway, unless it was passing each other in the hallway or the kitchen. And he'd been looking forward to this, even if Josh had only bid on him to save him from unsavory types at the auction. And a good thing too, because he may or may not already be dating someone he liked, and even if he weren't he didn't think Josh was into that with him, or not for about fourteen years anyway.
Staying home for said date had been a no-brainer, though. He'd been looking for a chance to relax with Josh and jam a little, as they'd talked about when Caleb had first asked him to stay, but they hadn't been able to find the time.
He'd dug his charcoal grill out of the rundown shed out back and set it up as best he knew how, since Josh had offered to cook (some kinda rabbit food, probably). He'd also brought Lucy out to noodle on while Josh cooked. There were beers on the wooden picnic bench, Stoner was lounging on the grass, and no place else he'd rather be.
