This was the absolute last time Ezra agreed to some crazy errand for Neve. He thought it would be going to the market, or picking Bryn up from school. Not so much; instead he was on a search for an antique wooden chest. He had no idea why Neve felt like she needed this, but he was wise enough not to ask. Instead he simply took the money she gave him, along with a list of antique shops in the area and left the house to begin his search.
He was on his third shop now and so far had not found the wooden chest Neve wanted. It didn't exist, or so that's what Ezra thought as he stood in front of a area in one of the antique shops that had all kinds of antique wooden items, but not a chest in sight. The idea to text Neve and inform her that her 'pirate's treasure chest' didn't exist had crossed his mind at least twice already, along with the idea that maybe Neve had some kind of 'theme' room planned that was going to center around this chest. Either way it got him out of the house on his day off, and lately he found he really was enjoying just getting out and exploring the DFW area more.
Finally giving up on this shop as well, Ezra was on his way towards the exit when he glanced at one of the other customers in the shop, and did a double take. He was ninety-nine percent certain he knew that woman, she was the DJ at Muse, though Ezra only knew her by name - Audrey - he thought it was. "Hey, this question might make completely sense, or you might think I'm insane. I'm almost certain you're the DJ that's been at Muse for a couple months, Audrey, right?"
