Isaac jammed on his ratty lime green Vans and fished around in his pockets for the car keys. Not because he'd been driving, he'd just found them on the side table and picked them up idly while cleaning earlier that afternoon. He found them in the third cargo pocket.
"Come on, babe, we gotta hit the road!" He called out. "Your hair looks fine and I love what you're wearing!"
Actually, he didn't know if it mattered whether or not they were on time. Alex had been kind of vague and Isaac had been totally high when the call came through. Mostly he knew there would probably be food that neither of them had to make and decent company. So. Good enough.
