Bradley was on a quick after-work run to the bookstore. Casey had gotten back a good report from school, so he figured a new book or two would be good to celebrate, and there was something to be said about learning something new from a different book-the last bug book was getting really old to him. Last night he’d dreamed about bugs, and really, maybe some other aspect of science would be better now.
Casey had always shown interest in medical books. Maybe there was something kid-level that he could get. Or maybe...
Or dinosaurs. He knew the boy had gone through a phase when he was three or four… but he was seven now, nearly eight. There were better books in his age bracket than there had been then, he thought, stopping distracted in the aisle when one of the books caught his eye.
