As the crowd got larger and larger, Robert tugged Riley closer, ensuring that they wouldn't get separated. As out and proud as he was, he also wasn't going to turn away an opportunity to advertise his business as well, as he stood there in his white shirt with rainbow-colored "Ghost hunters do it in the dark" slogan on the front and his business's name on the back. The shirt was tight, at least three sizes too small, but Riley had convinced him that it looked good, especially coupled with his tight jeans and black boots. The shirt was tight enough that his tattoos slightly bled through the fabric. He'd feel self-conscious in it but, just as he was starting to wonder if he should put something else on, someone would walk past in just their tighty-whities or some crazy combination of sequins and feathers.
There was an amazing amount of music, plenty of signs and more people watching than he'd ever thought he'd get. He wasn't afraid of large crowds but he kept a hand on Riley's arm to ensure that they weren't separated in the crowd.
Upon spotting the PFLAG group, Robert thought that his mother would get a kick out of this and he'd have to invite her to come next year.
