Summary: It’s Gabe’s birthday, and she has a surprise or two in store.

Gabe was not, perhaps, the easiest man to shop for in the entire world, Jenni thought, but she also thought he would like that she had planned for the night. There was a gift, of course, but she’d also bought something else besides that she was actually more certain he would like.
She chose to make dinner, as part of the gift involved that. She really didn’t think upon seeing it that Gabe would want to go out, or have her go out like that. She grinned to herself, anticipation warming her quite a bit.
She hummed to herself, waiting for him to come in, and yes it had to be alone, she’d definitely made sure no one would be coming along for birthday beers or whatnot. She hid happily in the kitchen, dressed with no shame in her little outfit, so she could saunter out and surprise him before the food and the other gift.
