It had been far too long since they had had a proper date. Work responsibilities and recent family obligations had taken precidence over anything and everything else. Finally though, finally they were able to spend some time being a couple and being together. Last week, once she had some idea of her upcoming schedule and responsibilities, she had suggested a date night with Graham - food and generally spending time together. She had asked Brendon a head of time if he could switch days with her and was thankful that he had agreed.
"I'm glad we got to do this," she smiled at him, taking a sip of her drink then setting it down. They were both adjusting to the news in their own way. Tonight, she wanted to bring up the topic of officially meeting his son - maybe doing some kind of dinner at the ranch on Sunday if they were interested. She was sure it could potentially be awkward and nerve wrecking but they were going to have to meet eventually, right?
Truth be told, now that she knew Noah was hanging around North Tree, she was paying attention to everyone who was around when she as out there. Once or twice she had noticed a new face amongst familiar ones and had a feeling that was Noah. He looked an awful lot like Graham. She didn't want to say anything unless she knew for certain that was him.
