RP: Too Much Space

Good thing about running a place that was busiest at night was that he didn't have to spend all day stewing before looking for Josh. Once he made up his mind about something, stewing was damn near impossible. It was late morning when Caleb arrived at Serenity, aware that the gym would be crowded but prepared to drag Josh wherever it was that they could talk in private.
He'd not had much time to visit the gym lately, and maybe he'd been avoiding it a little too, but he knew Josh would be there. Especially without Dylan around to keep him from working too hard these last six weeks. Caleb felt the stab of guilt and channeled it into determination. He could fill that role for Josh, even though he knew he couldn't be everything that Dylan had been this year.
When he didn't see Josh at the treadmills or the juice bar, he headed back to the pool area, figuring he'd check there before strong-arming his way into the apartment upstairs.
