"What can I say? Guess I like balls." Will snorted and rolled his eyes at himself before grinning. "My kids are my life. Don't get me wrong. I'm really fortunate because I've got enough money to be able to put them as my priority. Not every dad is able to do that, even if they'd want to." He wasn't bragging or anything. He just knew he had enough money that his kids were taken care of for their entire lives, so long as they listened to his advice about saving and being smart with money. Not that they'd know that, since he and Lilah had agreed they'd have to get jobs, but college would be taken care of.

"I've been there before, actually. I like the live music, and it's closer than driving to Dallas." Will grinned. "Do I get a free drink if I pull out the 'I nearly knocked the owner over' card? You've got a good assortment of cocktails available." He stepped closer for a moment to let a couple walk past, and he might have brushed against Caleb unnecessarily before straightening up. Flirting was fun, and it was a little hard to believe that he'd run into two men in just as many weeks that wouldn't try to punch him for doing so. "I like the entertainment industry, but my area doesn't really overlap with Muse."

"You handle them better than most." He was fun, Caleb decided. Lot of fun. "That's the truth. Money's freedom. I never used to worry about it before; I kinda lived a hassle-free lifestyle before about a year ago. Now, I've put down roots and I've got a ball and chain the size of Texas, feels like I'll never get out from under it sometimes. Got no freedom to stay home or to go back on the road, but weirdly...I love it." He shrugged, because it really did bewilder him sometimes. "Go figure."

Caleb grinned. "That's what I like to hear." Bradley was a potential new one, and now Will. He loved meeting customers, even the ones that didn't have cocky blue eyes that lingered. He leaned in slightly, briefly, as Will brushed against him. "Damn good assortment. You come see me, and I'll hook you up. Wouldn't even have pull any cards you didn't want to."

He looked at Will curiously. "Entertainment, you say? Maybe that's where I know you. Had my hands in a lot of pots over the years." He paused. "That is--you just looked familiar, is all."

"I'll have to do that soon. Can't resist getting a hook up from an attractive man." Will let his gaze linger on Caleb's lips before he moved his gaze down his body. "Even better if there's no cards or games involved," he added, looking back into Caleb's eyes. Just because he didn't have sex with everyone who turned him on didn't mean he wasn't above seeing where attraction went sometimes.

When Caleb said he looked familiar, Will's smile turned wicked. "Oh, do I?" There was a chance that they could have fucked before, like him and Ciaran, but he thought Caleb was several years younger, so probably not. That left the movies. "Tell me, Mr. Young, did you watch a lot of dirty movies as a...teenager, I'd guess. You're, what, late twenties? Early thirties?" He winked. "You might have seen me back in my acting days. Well, acting if a loose definition that involved more nudity and less actual skill was used."

Caleb's grin widened as Will's gaze set off a familiar thrum in his blood. Had to give it to a guy who'd eye you up in the middle of a crowded street; he'd give even Caleb a run for his money. He was tempted to suggest they take it off the street, even if it wasn't how he'd imagined his afternoon would go. "No games necessary," he said, "I shoot straight when it's required. So to speak."

His eyes narrowed speculatively as he listened to Will, curious where he was going with this. "'Bout right. Thirty-two," he said, and he froze as Will explained about his movies. Froze for five full seconds, seemed like, before he recovered.

"Ho-ly shit." He rubbed his chin, looking at the ground and back up at Will incredulously even as he chuckled. "Tell you the truth, I don't remember much acting, but seems like I do remember a thing or two from your movies." He flicked his gaze over the man's body. It all tended to run together when you were fourteen and trying to consume as much porn as humanly possible, but seemed like Will had been pretty memorable. "Well, fuck me sideways. Extra Credit."

"I don't remember much acting, either." Will laughed and ran his fingers through his hair. "That was my first starring role, actually. Hence the total lack of even trying to act. Of course, I mostly remember the script being pretty weak, so maybe it wasn't my lack of skill that made it suffer, on a cinematic level. There's only so much you can do with 'I've been a bad boy, Mr. Sanders, and I need a spanking', you know?"

He arched a brow as he leaned in closer. "Should I ask what you remember or is it better to leave a little mystery? Damn. That was nearly twenty years ago, though, so I don't know if I want to know, after all. With age comes experience, right?" He winked before smiling slowly. "Now what's this demand about sideways fucking, Mr. Young?"

"No one watches for the writing," Caleb assured him. "You delivered the line as well as my lust-addled fourteen-year-old brain required at the time, trust me. Hell, might even do the trick for my thirty-two year old one." Talk about a blast from the past. He'd damn near worn that tape out, had kept it under his bed and well hidden from his father. He didn't know how Will'd take it if he said that movie had been one of the things that'd helped him learn a few things about himself at a pretty crucial age, so he kept it to himself. But it had. "Start of a beautiful career, I take it."

He grinned. "Oh, I remember a fair bit. Seems like I know a lot more about you than you do me. Feels kinda nice." He teased with it, enjoying himself now that the initial shock had passed. "That's the way it works. I'm sure you've aged real well." He lifted a brow. "Just an expression, Butler. There's other angles I favor more."

"Fourteen? You must have been an early bloomer." Will moved so that he wasn't taking up so much room on the sidewalk. If the change in position also meant he was closer to Caleb, well, that was just a bonus. "If you need tricks for your mind now, you just let me know. I have one or two up my sleeves." He licked his lips. "I guess I didn't make a lasting impression if you didn't follow my career. Am I not your type, Caleb?" He pursed his lips into a pout before winking.

"But I'm glad you remember some of it. It was my starring debut, after all, so it's got a place in my heart. The writing was awful, but you're right. People don't watch for scripts. Of course, my production company has a branch that is more script focused, but that's mostly because I got so tired of reading such horrible things during my filming days." Will smiled and changed the subject before he wasted valuable flirting time with shop talk. "It's not my favorite angle, either. Not even in the top five, now that I think about it."

"What can I say? I was highly motivated." Caleb was never shy, but hell if he didn't kinda want to blush right now. He could remember not being sure whether he'd wanted to be Will, or be the one fucking Will. And now he was standing here talking to the guy. He laughed and ducked his head as he grinned, leaning against the wall of the shop they were standing in front of, arms crossed and body angled towards Will. "Well now, porn's porn at that age. Wasn't too picky about actors, you know. Which is not to say you weren't memorable." As Caleb remembered, Will'd had a lithe, flexible body that'd looked good spread out over a desk. He was broader now, tight-packed and filled out and no less appealing. Probably more so. "As for types, well, I have a lot of those."

He listened with some interest. Wasn't every day you got an inside look at the porn business. And no wonder Will was comfortable. People would always pay big for porn. "Working behind the camera now, hm? Well, maybe better scripts keep the actors motivated. Hell, maybe one day people will be able to use them on their resumes for regular movies." He smiled. "Might be fun to compare notes. Big bad porn star like you, you must've done...damn near everything."

"Porn's porn at any age, darlin'," Will drawled. He was having fun, and it wasn't every day he could say he was happy for running into someone. Literally. "There's just a lot more choice these days. Back in my day, it was the end of the eighties era and things started changing, but it's all sex in the end. Script or not."

He nodded. "I co-own a production company. We have a few different branches operating out of our studio, so we've got our hands in a lot of pies. I work from here now, but I have to fly back every month for meetings and to check on things." Will laughed. "Comparing notes sounds fun. Not sure how bad I am, but I'm certainly big." He winked. "And, yeah, there's not much I haven't done, whether I was being paid or not. Ah. My youthful days. I'm afraid I'm a boring old Dad now," he said, moving his gaze over Caleb's body again. "Not so wild and crazy."

"All sex in the end." Caleb nodded and had to agree. "Least these days, I don't have to hide anything under the floorboards." No shame in his game now, though that hadn't been the case growing up under his father's roof.

"Fly back to..." he prompted, more than curious. "Sounds lucrative. You were smart to get into the business end of things--ah, so to speak. I've heard some horror stories about people in your line of work, though you can never be sure what's true and what's not." He grinned slowly, testing the waters. Flirting was fun, but there was always that point where he wasn't sure what was deliberate invitation and what was just banter. "Not everything needs to be wild and crazy, but yeah, you're plenty big as I remember it," he agreed, then met Will's gaze directly, his eyes lit with laughter and maybe a little something deeper. "You're a cocky son of a bitch, Will Butler. I like you."

"Los Angeles. Well, the offices for Shoreline are actually in Santa Monica, and we have another studio in Pasadena. I have a place in the hills, though, so I'm in the middle." Will shrugged. "These days, anyone with a webcam can put porn out for the world to view. Fortunately, my industry is pretty much recession proof, since people always seem to want booze and porn."

He lost the flirty smile for a minute as he nodded. "There's some bad shit out there in my business. If I hadn't someone willing to look out for me, even when I tried to fuck things up, I know I would have gotten into stuff I might not have got through. We don't allow that stuff in my studioes," he said firmly. "But some of those stories you've heard are true, I'm sure."

"Might need to refresh your memory, Caleb Young." He grinned. "And that's good, because I like you, too. Wouldn't mind finding out more about you, if you're interested..." He let the offer trail off, so Caleb wouldn't feel obligated to take a little flirting and see where it goes.

"Gotcha. I was based out of LA for a little while myself, just out of college. Even did a little acting, though it never went anywhere big." Caleb snorted. "Hell, no one wants booze and porn more than when there's a recession, I figure. Have to take distractions where you can get 'em."

He looked at Will closely for a minute, he could tell this was pretty important to him. He must have led a hell of a life, and Caleb could admit to being curious about him. "No, that's good. I've had some friends who didn't fare as well, and not all businesses are as clean as yours. Glad you had someone showing you the ropes. I know as well as anyone what a difference a good friend can make."

Caleb raised a brow, playing along. "Seems only fair, you know? 'Show you mine, show me yours' with a twist." The man was interesting, and hot, and could give as good as he got. He could see no reason to cut off whatever this was just yet. "Maybe my memory's not as long as I thought."

"Acting, huh? Movies or theatre? I know it's not my industry or you'd have heard about me outside of Extra Credit," he said matter of factly. Male porn stars might not be a household name like Jenna, but he was well-known in his area, and he had a great reputation. He didn't think it was bragging to be honest. "It wasn't for you or you just prefer owning your own business?"

Will laughed. "You know, this is the first time that I've ever heard that, outside a movie script. You're something special, Caleb Young." He grinned as he got his wallet out of his pocket and removed his business card.

"Here's my number. If you're serious about getting to know me, maybe you can come out to my ranch for dinner some night. If you'd rather have a day, and night, of hot sex with position exploration, well, I don't do that so much anymore, but I'd probably make an exception because you're smart and turn me on. Ball's in your court." He handed over the card and tilted his head as he watched Caleb and waited for his choice.

"Both, sort of. Had a bit part in a couple of horror movies, then took to the stage a while after that. I love the theatre more than I can say. Ended up going into stage managing for theatre groups, and moving around the country a lot with those." He laughed. "Definitely not your industry, no. I'd have made it my business to know you."

"What can I say, I missed my calling writing quality porn scripts." He took the man's card and produced one of his own with the muse logo on it, a fair trade.

Caleb rubbed his chin and watched the other man. He was always in the market for friends, and Will seemed like could potentially be a good one. On the other hand, it'd been a while since he'd met someone he wanted to get his hands on badly enough to distract him from work, and right now his hands felt pretty itchy. He wasn't sure which he'd take Will up on, but he was damn well keeping the card. "Oh, I'll be calling you, Will." He smiled. "Be lying if I said I didn't want to get to know you better."
