RP: Kibbles and Bits

Summary: Meeting a fellow geek in a pet store.

She generally liked waiting for the weekend to shop, but somehow Ava had managed to let Wilbur run out of food without her noticing. Not exactly like her, but she'd been working so much she was lucky if she could remember to feed herself. It was just as well; Wilbur was outgrowing his collar anyway and it might be good to pick up a new one. Not to mention it was still a bit hot for long walks, so a trip to Pet Smart was a good way to get him out to see people, even if it was just in passing.
The place had a literal wall of dog collars, and she browsed them all idly while Wilbur sat in the child seat of her cart, mostly behaving. She'd done a decent job at training him after all--at least these days she could actually bring him here without being afraid he'd get excited and pee on the floor. She held a studded neon purple pleather collar up to his off-white fur, chuckled to herself, then put it back.
