Ezra fought back the sigh that wanted to escape him. Kyle was ready, had been ready for a little while now. But apparently he was going to have to drill that fact into his fiance's head before he believed him. "Yes, I'm sure." he replied with an amused grin. "When have I ever lied to you?"

He could repeat the fact that Kyle was ready until he was blue in the face. But until Kyle believed it he knew it wouldn't do a whole lot of good, didn't stop him from doing it though. Ezra was still shocked Soli had actually bought Kyle a car for his birthday, and part of him worried that his own gift fell far short compared to this. It was a worry he kept to himself since Kyle seemed genuinely thrilled about the art studio. This wasn't really a driving lesson, since Ezra wasn't exactly directing Kyle on what to do - he was just along for the ride and maybe present to holler 'Watch out' if need be.

Kyle smiled fondly at Ezra's question. "Never," he said softly, taking his hand off the gear shaft for a moment to reach over and squeeze Ezra's knee, slightly. "Love you, Amado."

He knew Ezra believed in him, and even the couple times Neve had taken him out for a driving lesson had gone okay. "It's not so much this." He nodded at the pavement in front of them before checking his mirrors. "As it is the paper test that freaks me out." He hadn't taken a real test since he had got his GED at sixteen. He took a small breath. "What if I don't pass?"

Ezra smiled and nodded, "Exactly." He murmured, covering Kyle's hand with his own briefly before. "God, I love you so much." He replied, grinning as Kyle took his hand off his knee to focus on driving again.

He was aware that no matter how many times he or Neve told Kyle he was a good driver and ready to take the test, it wouldn't do any good unless Kyle truly believed it. "Good, 'cause you're pretty good at this." Ezra remarked, going serious when Kyle revealed what it was he was truly worried about. "Really? Do you want me to quiz you?" He could if it would calm Kyle's nerves. "You'll pass, Ky." Ezra was positive of this fact, even if Kyle wasn't.

"Love you back even more," Kyle said, sparing another quick glance at Ezra to flash him a smile. "Okay, I wanna practice parallel parking again before I take the test."

"Thanks, Blue," he said softly. "And. Maybe after we drive a little we can stop for lunch and then you can quiz me and then we can drive over to the DMV? I made an appointment for two o'clock." Because he knew if he hadn't made an appointment, he would have skipped it entirely for another day.

He frowned in concentration when he approached a busy intersection, flipping his blinker on to get into the turn lane. "At least this isn't one of those stupid roundabouts," he muttered under his breath as he pulled to a stop at the red light.
