Pin pointing when the lessons had morphed into simple jam sessions would be hard for Ezra to figure out. It hadn't been a conscious decision but more like natural progression. Erica had been a quick study, and didn't really need him to 'teach' her anymore, but they had kept up with the weekly 'lessons' just for the sake of having a jam session and he still gave her pointers from time to time. Also Ezra liked the excuse to just hang out and catch up.
He knocked on Erica's door, leaning against the wall in the hallway as he waited for Erica to answer. This was the routine most times, and Ezra had joked more than once that she should just give him a key so he didn't have to stand out in the hall and continue to get odd looks from her neighbors. Though most of them knew him by now, or at least knew the blond guy with the guitar was harmless and a friend of Erica's.
