She didn't have to rush home tonight, for the first time in a long time. Pulling her hair back into a sloppy ponytail, Nereida finished out the last of her notes on the new student she was taking on, then slid her folder into her shoulder-bag and began heading towards the equipment-room. Paula had sent the kids to their dad's, now that he was back from his trip and willing to let them come over for a few days, and Dios, she needed to clear her head for a bit.
Putting her bag in a locker and changing quickly into a loose tank-top and running-shorts, she closed everything up and headed straight for one of the treadmills, maybe go for about a mile or two, see how she felt after that. Popping her IPod earplugs in her ears and starting up the machine after doing a few minutes of stretches, she started herself slowly, and let herself zone out a bit.
