RP: One Fight at a Time

Harley'd spent a chunk of her day off looking into ASE applications. It seemed she'd never be done taking tests, and just the thought of more of them had a headache brewing behind her eyes, but these should actually be easy once she paid the fees. It was stuff she basically already knew.
After finishing up with that, she headed to Serenity. It was a pretty nice gym for all she knew, though she didn't go much, having never been in the habit of visiting gyms. It was way too hot out for physical activity, or Harley would've suggested she and Ariel meet at the park where they'd got together the first time instead. Since they'd be sparring instead of just hitting bags, they needed some room. Hopefully they wouldn't get in the way if they stuck to the mats near the speed bags in the boxing area. She was looking forward to it, both to see how Ariel was getting along and to keep her own skills sharp. She got plenty of exercise at work, but needless to say she didn't find herself having to fight as much as she'd used to, so practice was always good.
She was fine in the baggy sweatpants and much tighter white beater tee she'd arrived in so she didn't bother changing, instead heading straight for the boxing area. After wrapping her hands, she put on some light sparring gloves and spent some time hitting the heavy bags while she waited for Ariel to arrive or get ready.
