The day had been amazing, in Kyle's opinion. Laser tag had been a fucking blast, his team of Ezra, Fisher, Demi and himself had demolished everyone, and then he'd teamed up with Shelby, Mack, and Bryn to take out Ezra.
Then his surprise from Ezra. He was still emotional over it and if they hadn't had people about to show up, he'd be properly thanking Ezra in their bed. But they did and he didn't trust the girls not to come downstairs in their excitement any ways.
He still couldn't quite believe that all of these people were here for him. It was insane and wonderful all at the same time. Last year... he'd just prayed he'd make it to his nineteenth birthday. He hadn't realized that he'd be engaged, and happy and whole when he did. And this time next year he would be married and that was just mind-blowing.
