He heard the door chime and was about ready to go and tell whoever'd come in that they were too late, that the store was closed and they would have to come back tomorrow. Then he'd heard her voice say his name and the calm stern businessman look melted into a happy smile. He'd quietly moved out from where he'd been doing all of the last bits of closing up before locking the doors and turning out the lights and took a moment to just appreciate the view in front of him. He had to bite back a groan at those sandals and the dress. It made for a very very appealing sight and he quietly came up behind her, slipping his arms around her waist and dropping a kiss on her cheek.

"You called, beautiful?" He murmured quietly in her ear.

Brielle gave a laugh as she melted back into his arms and turned to grin at him, her eyes bright. "Hey," she said in greeting, turning around in his embrace to face him. She lifted her arms, twining them about his neck as she leaned up on tiptoe and kissed him in return.

"Busy day?" she asked him with a smile, relaxing against him as her fingers played lightly against the nape of his neck.

"Same as usual," Jay answered, "So so much better now that you're here." He held onto her a little tighter, bringing her a little more flush against him. He loved that she was tiny enough that he could wrap his arms around her like this. Pick her up off the floor and kiss her until they were both breathless.

He made a happy noise as her fingers danced across his skin and kissed her again. "How'd your day go?" He asked her with a soft smile on his face.

"It went well," Brielle answered with a grin, her cheeks flushing faintly as he tugged her closer. "Quiet. I spent most of the morning doing some chores around the house that I'd gotten behind in this week. My one client's had me running all over for her this week when I'm not in the office, it seems."

She laughed when he kissed her again. "I'm glad to have made your day better, then. Are you still closing up? Is there anything I can help with?"

"Good," he was glad that work was going well for her. And that she had flexible hours so that they could do things like this. Dinner was already made upstairs, it just needed to be reheated. He'd thrown together something during lunch and left it in the fridge so all they had to do was zap it in the microwave and voila, dinner.

"I just need to lock the doors and turn out the lights and then I'm all yours," Jay told her with a grin, not moving from where they were. "And mm seeing you always makes my day better." He lifted her up slightly so her could drop a kiss on that place where her neck and shoulder met.

Bri laughed, steadying herself against his chest when he lifted her up on her toes, unable to disguise the shiver that slipped down her spine when his lips brushed against her skin. "Funny, I was just thinking the same. Come on, Mister. Lock it up. I'm hungry," she teased him with a dimpled smile, her dark eyes bright with affectionate amusement as she stepped back from him, taking herself out of reach before she distracted them both further.

Jay saluted her with a grin, "Aye, aye, Mistress." He murmured with an amused look before moving to lock up and turn out all the lights except the ones leading to the elevator in the back.

He walked back to her and slipped an arm around her. "Hungry, huh? I think we can probably help with that." He pressed the button for the elevator and smiled innocently at her.

Brielle laughed as she stepped into the elevator and took him with her, giving him a knowing look. Inside, she returned the favor, twining her arm about his waist as she poked his chest lightly with a finger.

"What's that look for? You smiling innocently automatically means you're up to something, I've learned. Should I be worried?" she asked with a grin.

He loved making her laugh. It was a gorgeous sound. He grinned down at her as she poked him. "What look? This look? This look means nothing but good things." He leaned down to kiss her again.

The elevator chimed and he felt the whoosh of air as the doors opened and he led her into his apartment. "Where do you want to eat, beautiful? On the patio, the couch, or at the table?" He was fine with any of them.
