It had been nearly a month since she and Graham had started dating and fuck, how time had flown. They had taken to staying over at each others places when they could while doing more dates, lunch dates and in general spending time together. He'd come in on some days that she was working and it was those days that she found time slipping away. They actually had conversations and would still banter more often than not but it was all in good fun, generally.
She used to look forward to Tuesday and Saturdays and while she still did, it was the time that Graham wouldn't be caught in the Hawthorne. It was okay though - they had their days that they didn't see each other and she was okay with that. No really, she was. Okay, so she missed him. A little. They were still in that honeymoon phase and she supposed that's what cellphones were for - to send messages if they suddenly think of something they wanted to share with the other person. It was weird how her attitude had changed.
After six months of radio silence, she couldn't believe the sheer relief she had felt when he entered the Hawthorne again with all charm and swagger. It had taken all that she could to refrain from hugging him and/or kissing him right then and there. She hadn't though but they still ended up in that position later on that evening. Now...now, they were going on a month. She really couldn't be happier.
She hoped the turn out would be a good one tonight. If she was busy then time would go a lot quicker. Courtney set about making a drink for a customer and asked another what she could get them to drink or to eat.
