He texted her back, telling her he'd be there. He just needed to shower and change first.

She hadn't expected him to join them and was pleasantly surprised when he said he would be. She glared at Jase when he stole her phone, pouting slightly as he chuckled at her. "Your Co's joining us, Ald'," she mock-whispered to her son, laughing when he started squirming excitedly.

He drove to the club and parked, heading inside and looking around for either Adrienne or Alden. He thought they'd be easier to spot. He hadn't been out like this in a while.

Alden spotted Colin first, squirming excitedly in Ad's grip. "Co!!" He bounced, pointing. As soon as Adrienne deemed Colin close enough, she set Alden down, an amused smile playing on her lips as he made a bee-line straight for Colin, attaching himself to Colin's legs.

Colin was still looking around when he felt something grab his legs. He looked down and grinned at Alden. "Heya little man, did you escape from Mommy and Stilly Uncle Jase?" He asked as he pried the small boy off his legs and into his arms.
He tickled Alden's stomach slightly before asking him, "Where's your Mama, little man?" He turned slightly as he said this and spotted where they were but he wanted to see if Ald would answer him back.

Adrienne gave a small wave when she caught Colin's eyes, rolling her eyes at Jase as he snickered. "Go dance with your girl," she muttered. "It's why you're here, isn't it?"
Jase laughed again, nodding. "Yeah okay, but I'll take the munchkin in a little bit so you and Col' can hit the floor, if you want."
She shrugged. It was an interesting thought and she might just take him up on it. If Colin asked, she thought as Jase went to find Nereida for another dance.

"Long time no see," He deadpanned with an innocent look on his face. "Also I have something that belongs to you." He gestured towards Alden but didn't hand him back yet. He risked a quick glance up and down at her outfit. It was very nice. "Is that one of ours? It looks gorgeous." He was curious - it flattered her well and it should be hers if she didn't already own it.

"It's been at least an hour, I figured you were already missing us," Adrienne replied, smothering a smirk and kicking out the chair next to her for him to sit down on. She tipped her head to the side, watching him with Alden. "Pretty sure he's happy where he is."
She blushed lightly at the compliment. "Mm, kind of. Experimental line that Jase is trying to decide if he wants to carry." She tugged at the top a little again. "I think I like it."

Colin chuckled as he sat down next to her. "Yeah. Apparently these bony shoulders are comfortable for small boys. Who knew?" He quipped.
Mm. His gaze drifted down to her fingers and then back up quickly. Not for him. Besides she was his boss. It'd be like checking out Jase. Dangerous and better not to go there. You just didn't muck about with a good thing, especially when it concerned your livelihood.
"It looks good." He smiled at her as Alden started playing with the buttons on his shirt. "It's got my vote." Not that his vote counted for terribly much. He was the assistant and liked it that way. Adrienne and Jase were the professionals.

Ad' flushed further as Colin's gaze dipped, reaching for her drink and sipping at it quickly. She hadn't been prepared for that small glance, but she couldn't deny that it felt good.
She smiled softly as Alden cuddled further into Colin. "Well, thank you then. I'll let Jase know that the line's probably a keeper."

Alden cuddling into him more made him smile more. The small boy was full of sunshine and giggles as his Gram would say and he was just grateful that he was able to be part of his life right now. He'd always wanted kids, and just hadn't ever really had the chance to...get to that point with someone. Maybe one day.
Colin smiled, "You're more than welcome."
