RP: Time to Fess Up

Ezra wasn't deliberately keeping the information about his parents visit from Kyle, he just hadn't found the right time to tell him yet. Okay, maybe that was a bit of an exaggeration, Ezra had plenty of opportunities over the last week and some days to tell him, but every time he thought he was prepared to break the news to him, he lost his nerve.
Today was one of those days, Ezra was 99% sure he had found the right words to tell Kyle. But now as he stood in the doorway of their room looking at Kyle, he was finding the words had escaped him. "So, I, um, yeah." Ezra was stuttering, awkwardly trying to formulate what he wanted to say, and after a few minutes of stopping and starting he finally muttered, "Nevermind."
Before Kyle could say anything in response Ezra turned on his heels and sort of fled, or at least it felt like fleeing in his mind. Though he only made it as far as the living room, dropping onto the couch in defeat, head in his hands as he tried to gather his thoughts and maybe try again.
