Laine was frustrated with her wardrobe. After three hours of scrounging through her closet and drawers that morning she hadn’t been able to find any pieces she deemed ‘first date’ worthy. Or at least not for a first date with cute Dan from the gym.
So she had stopped into Second Chances. Knowing it was the one place she would be able to find something that would meet her criteria and figuring it was about damn time she showed her face in the shop again. She had only promised Leah over a month ago that she would.
But the place had its usual Saturday crowd, so she hadn’t had an opportunity to say ‘hey’ to either Shell or Leah and beg for help in her search. So she was left to look through the racks on her own until one of them was free.
