Rivkah pulled up and honked her horn. She's cleared out the back of her SUV the night before and put down the backseat so there would be plenty of room for anything they picked up. She had high hopes for finding at least a few good pieces to get them started off on the right foot. When Shira had moved in with her, everything in the apartment had been Rivkah's and it was often a sticking point in their arguments. It was good to have new things for a new phase of life, she'd realized. Not to mention that she was looking forward to seeing Ty in a real house with real furniture. The thought of his barren apartment still depressed her a little, even if it hadn't seemed to bother him.
While she waited, she opened up her phone and scanned through the pictures he'd sent her, trying to get a feel for the space. She was no kind of interior designer. Ty's artistic eye was probably far sharper than hers, but she figured her estrogen must be good for something. She'd done all right on the condo and she'd had to slap it together in a matter of days. She wondered if Alex had given Ty any direction as to what he wanted. Probably. She'd have to ask.
