RP: Out with Brielle

Ava was running slightly late to meet Brielle, which she hated. She generally tried not to be late for things, even when they were supposed to be fun, laid-back things like drinks out with friends. Maybe even especially when they were fun things, because she'd kind of been looking forward to this since Brielle had texted her about it late this week.
She was back at Angel Abbey again, which looked decidedly less festive than when she'd been on Mardi Gras. She probably wouldn't see Chris tonight either, but she'd been meaning to thank him for the seasoning recipe he'd been nice enough to share with her that day.
Brielle was at the bar when she got there, and Ava bypassed the hostess stand this time and headed straight over, smiling apologetically. "Hey -- I hope you haven't been waiting long."
