WOW it's been a while...I'll try to remember the format

Hi.

Remember me?

We haven't spoken in a while, but I'd like to get back to that. This way people can stay on top of what I'm doing, in a Claus-esque way. BTW, check out his blog at www.claushouse.blogspot.com it's really entertaining and it sound like Mike is saying everything he types.

This semester has been a deviation from my other 5. I feel like all I do is sit inside my room and that I'm a terrible RA. My residents tell me that my door's never open, which it often isn't, but my roomies close it when it is. I also feel like I haven't been involved with as much as I have in the past, but I'm looking forward to the future weeks.

Once I get done with this paper that's due Tuesday, (the day I've been dreading for WEEKS)then I can finally move on with my life and get into practicing Mock Rock for Greek Week (our word is "party") and concentrating on Leadership Camp. I am verrrrry excited about that, as it not only will be a great time, but signals the start of summer, which I've never been more ready for.

This summer promises great things:
-Leadership Camp 2006
-My Birthday (the big 2-1)
-White Water rafting on the Upper Yough (in PA)
-The first annual 37 Summit (in CO)
-Kidz Camp (my job)
-The marriage of Jana and Hey Steve (in MN)
-The triumphant return of Libby Rose (in UP)
-Fat Kid reunion (w/ bocce?)
-etc.

I am so excited, not only for these things, but for a break from school...like the pirate with a steering wheel in his pants, it's driving me nuts.

I am also nominated for Gold Ambassador, so wish me luck in the selection process; I hope I at least get an interview, because I have wanted this for a long time now. It would be such an honor to make the top 5, let alone win.

Also, you may be asking yourself, where is Josh's girlfriend from earlier entries? Well, she's in Seville. That's in Spain. I'm in Mount Pleasant, and that's in The USA. And we're not technically together anymore. It's complicated. But, we do talk often, about Spain, bartending, and monkeys. I try to spice up what's going on here, but it's pretty much same old same old. I hope by writing in this, I can keep track of the little things that happen in my daily life. That's all I wanna get out of this; no pulitzer.

Anyway, I guess that's it for my 1st entry back. Tune in, same Melv-time, same Melv-station.

I hope this post finds you in the best of messy rooms and post-duty exhaustions.
